After touring the country last year, the Te Wānanga o Aotearoa short film Te Iwa o Matariki will be screening at the Auckland Museum this month.
The 15-minute film – which explains Matariki and includes the two ‘forgotten’ stars, Pōhutukawa and Hiwaiterangi - will be shown during Matariki, which this year is between July 17-22.
The movie will be shown three times each day – at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm - in the auditorium lobby of the museum and is free with museum entry.
