Māhuri Tōtara is eight weeks away and there has been much activity in preparation.
The Tātari Kounga roadshow has been raising awareness around the Takiwā of the Māhuri Tōtara process.
From Whangarei to Christchurch and many sites in between, these presentations have been well attended with good kōrero.
Tātari Kounga are concluding with two roadshow presentations at Te Puna Mātauranga on the following dates:
- Thursday 27 July 2017
- Wednesday 2 August 2017
Tātari Kounga have developed a brief Schoox online learning module based on the TWoA Uara and Takepū.
There is a Go Pro Hero Session up for grabs. To be in the draw to win, all you need to do is to watch the Schoox learning session and answer the questions correctly. There are no limitations on how many attempts you can have - kia kaha tātou.
Tau Ora is also supporting Māhuri Tōtara by dedicating a “Mahi Badge”. There are good points to be earned whānau, while also getting more informed about this process and having a bit of fun while you are at it.
Also, to ensure that those kaimahi who will be directly involved in Māhuri Tōtara better understand the process and their involvement, Tātari Kounga kaimahi will be conducting
Arotake Whakarite, (mock reviews).
These will occur in the takiwā from the first 2-weeks of August.
